Class Levels
Thrive Dance groups dancers based on age to keep each level developmentally appropriate, while providing individual attention for each student so they are challenged on their personal ability level.
Sprouts Ages 2.5-3 - For dancers who are between 2 years & 6 months to 3 years and 11 months old when they start the class. Dancers who turn 4 can transition to the Sprouts Ages 4-5 classes after Winter Break.
Sprouts Ages 4-5 - For dancers who are between 4 years and 5 years 11 months old & who are NOT in kindergarten yet.
Pink - For dancers in Kinder-2nd grade*
Sky - For dancers in 3rd-5th grade*
Royal - For dancers in 6th-7th grade*
Gold - For dancers in 8th grade and up*
*If student is homeschooled, what they would be in if they had gone to public school.

Rhythm Works - BRAND NEW!
At Thrive Dance we believe everyone should have the opportunity to be themselves at dance, no matter their ability, age, race or gender. Because this is so important to us, Ms. Christine became a Certified Rhythm Works Instructor so she could begin teaching classes specifically designed for the dancers of the community who have special needs. This certification is in addition to her previous experience working with students with Down Syndrome and Autism. To get more details about the program contact us here!
Sprouts
Our preschool program is aimed at giving your dancer foundational skills in a way that is fun, developmentally appropriate and will keep their love of dance alive!
Ballet + Tap - Your child can soar, spin, kick and leap their way through our combo class made for boys and girls. It's perfect for your little one who loves to follow along with the teacher and learn fun steps.
Creative Dance + Tumbling - Join us for an action-packed class that will spark your little one's creativity, leaving them glowing with pride and empowerment. We use games, challenges, and creative problem solving so that kids who love to move will feel at home. It's perfect for the child who can't sit still and loves to make up their own moves.
Hip Hop - A high energy class with fun music and cool moves is what's in store for this class! Your little one will play games, do obstacle courses and learn dances that are developmentally appropriate. It's perfect for the dancer who loves to grove and has lots of energy!
Launch Technique
Where your dancer can learn the complex intricacies of dance technique in a developmentally appropriate way so they can become more creative, confident and courageous.
Contemporary - A mix of ballet, jazz and modern technique, contemporary dance is a newer genre that focuses on story telling in new and creative ways. This class was created for the dancer who wants to improve their technique AND create their own choreography. Each class will expand their critical thinking skills, teamwork, and determination (aka LIFE skills!) as well as create friendships.
Hip Hop - Our Hip Hop classes are part of our Launch Technique program that focuses on teaching age-appropriate moves in an empowering environment. We will do challenges, games, and choreography so your dancer will have fun while getting exercise and making friends.
Ballet - With a focus on your dancer's foundational ballet technique, class is structured to move through a typical ballet class progression. Students will learn proper placement and basic ballet steps though combinations, games and dances to keep their love of dance alive!
Jazz - High energy and athleticism are the focus of our jazz classes that will work on kick, leaps, turns and performance style. Your dancer will have developmentally appropriate steps & music, play games and learn how to be their own choreographer!
Musical Theater - With Jazz and Ballet as the foundation of Musical theater, students will layer singing and acting on top of their dancing skills. It is perfect for those who love to be dramatic, silly and put on a show,
Elevate Performing Company
Our low stress yet highly engaging program created for the dancer who wants to experience the magic of the stage - lights, costumes, and the incredible sense of accomplishment that comes from working hard and doing something not everyone has the guts to try.
Elevate Performing Company is a separate class that dancers attend once a week. The tuition is $64/mo and dancers learn exciting choreography, work on their strength and flexibility, and get to learn dance as a team endeavor.
Each semester Thrive performs a unique production number that we like to call “dansicals”. It’s a way to tell a story through dancing and all levels of the company learn dances to the theme for about 4 months. Then everyone comes together to create one HUGE production number that lasts 15-20 minutes!
Last year, we did Moana in the spring and Home Alone for our winter performance.
Requirements:
For dancers in K-10th grade
Enrolled in One Launch Technique Class for Pink and Sky levels, enrolled in two Launch Technique Classes for Royal and Gold Levels
Commit to two performances per semester, plus two dress rehearsals
Purchase one costume for $75 per semester (includes tights)
